House Guidelines

We want all of our residents to feel safe and secure while they live in our homes, so we ask that everyone follow some basic rules. Every home has the same guidelines, and no one is singled out.

  1. There will be a ZERO TOLERANCE for anyone who gets caught doing any substances.  If caught, you will have 30 minutes to get your property and leave the residence.
  2. A MINIMUM of 4 meeting days a week to all residences and all residents will be required to get a sponsor in a timely manner. Going to 4 meetings in one day will be counted as 1 meeting. $10 fine for not having a completed meeting sheet.
  3. Everyone will be required to do work assignments (chores) at the house on a daily basis.
  4. There will be a curfew for 10:30pm on weeknights and 12:30pm on weekends for the first month. After completing probationary period without any infractions, the curfew will be 12pm weeknights and 2am on weekends. Quiet hours at the house are 10:30pm Sunday-Thursday and 12:30am on Friday and Saturday.
  5. No guest are permitted in the house after quiet hours nor are they permitted in any bedrooms at anytime. After you have a year clean, you will be able to have overnight guests.
  6. Any physical altercations in the house will not be tolerated and will result in immediate consequences and possible ejection from the house. Everyone will be required to treat each other with kindness and respect.
  7. Random drug and alcohol screening will be done weekly or sent to be privately tested. Anyone suspected of substance use will be screened immediately.
  8. If you make a mess anywhere in the house, clean it up when you are finished. No personal items are to be left in common areas.
  9. Infractions such as not doing chores or failing to get up in the morning will result in fines and/or restrictions.
  10. Any problems need to be brought to the President of the house. However, no decisions about changing house policy are to be done by anyone except Doug.
  11. If you are on Drug Replacement Therapy (ie. Suboxone) this does not disqualify you from the opportunity to live in our homes. However, additional guidelines may apply. Please speak with Doug for more information.
