Our recovery homes are designed to provide a safe space for men and women recovering from addiction to find the skills they need to get back on their feet. Each home, while unique in amenities, is managed by someone off-site with a minimum of 10 years clean and sober and operates under uniform guidelines. Rather than being run democratically from the inside by its residents, there is a single point of accountability held by someone with the experience and compassion to ensure each individual is treated fairly and given an opportunity to grow in a safe, low stress and loving environment.

If you are coming in straight from treatment, your second week is free. We believe recovering from addiction is most often a life or death situation, and we want to do everything we can to help.

What our Residents Say

The love, kindness, friendship and accountability that I have found in this house not only changed me as a person but the future I have today. This house plays a huge part in why having a future is even an option for me.

Cindy S.

Living in a recovery house has shown me a lot of key things like the importance of brotherhood. Going on this journey of recovery together with people who are going through the same thing is so helpful.

Tim S.

I’ve learned how to manage my money and hold a steady job. They give you pillows and blankets when you move in, and they help you feel at home. If you come to a NuFresh Start house, you will always feel welcome and like you belong.
